Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Latimerart LLC ("we", "us") for the Closet iPhone app and closetstylistapp.com (together, "Closet"). By creating an account or using Closet, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy policy.

Who can use Closet

You must be at least 13 years old to use Closet. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe.

Your content

You own the photos and details you add to Closet. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to run Closet for you, including sending them to our AI provider as described in the Privacy policy. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Only upload photos you have the right to use. Closet is for photos of clothing, shoes and accessories. Don't upload photos of other people, or content that is illegal, sexual, hateful or violent. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we report child sexual abuse material to the authorities as the law requires.

AI suggestions

Closet uses AI to detect colors and suggest outfits. Suggestions are style ideas, not professional advice. They can be wrong, and colors on screen can differ from real life. You decide what to wear. AI-generated content in Closet is labeled.

Plans and subscriptions

• Closet has a free plan and paid plans (currently Plus and Pro). Plan features and limits are described in the app and may change. We'll give notice before we reduce what a paid plan includes.
• Paid plans are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Paid plans may include a reasonable daily fair-use limit on AI requests to keep the service fast and fair for everyone.

Beta testing

If you join a beta through TestFlight, you may see unfinished features and bugs, and beta data may occasionally be reset. Any beta perks, such as free access to a paid plan, last only as long as we say they do.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Closet. That includes trying to access other people's accounts or data, interfering with the service, scraping it, reverse engineering it, getting around plan limits, or using it to break the law.

Our app

We own Closet, including its design, software and branding. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple isn't responsible for Closet or its support, but Apple and its subsidiaries can enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as disclaimers and limits of liability, continue after your account ends.

Disclaimers

Closet is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that Closet will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Latimerart LLC won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim about Closet is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Closet after that, the new terms apply.
